Miss Fit Group Trainings & Bootcamps

Discover a better way today to maximize your fitness efforts for a healthier weigh - go from misfit to Miss Fit!   Miss Fit Group Trainings & Bootcamps are open to women of all sizes of varying fitness levels unless noted otherwise (ie., 
special populations - women that are overweight to obese (body mass index), prenatal exercisers & those six to twelve weeks postpartum,  or the deconditioned, new or returning exerciser.  Sessions are typically scheduled month-to-month series in the evenings at ALLEN location and in the mornings at PLANO location.
 
You will not only workout, but you will also be provided with tools (see Healthy Weigh below) to help you keep your commitment to an active lifestyle.  It's just like having a personal trainer, but in a group environment and at a fraction of the cost of personal training.  You will not be left behind or asked to do more than you are capable of doing safely but you will be motivated to work hard by giving your best effort. 

* Sessions may take place both indoors and outdoors or indoors only or outdoors - depending on the group and location!  Class name or brief description on schedules typically includes some indication of whether sessions or indoors or outdoors or both. 

* Sessions are fitness-oriented for a vigorous/challenging workout and are packed with resistance/ weight training exercises and energizing activities such as agility drills, lunges, push-ups (modified or full), ball exercises, aerobic boxing, core technique and abdominal exercises, sports yoga, pilates and more. 

* Sessions are designed to help you reach your fitness goals through functional strength training that combines short timed intervals of resistance exercises with 60-90 second periods of cardio. 

* Sessions taking place outdoors may include walking to jogging and/ or jogging to running - we may do a fast paced walk, walk to jog intervals, hill/obstacle training, or a slow tempo jog.

* Sessions/ Series will include nutrition information in addition to pre and post evaluations to help you monitor your progress and for accountability.  Evaluations are typically done at the beginning and end of each session.  

You will be encouraged and challenged to work hard, but you will not be "pushed" beyond your personal limits.  100% effort is all you will be asked to give.   It's not about being an elite athlete, it's about being the best you can be!  Your stamina will increase, you'll become stronger and you'll lose weight and/or become leaner, you'll gain confidence and endurance.  There is no competition. You will feel and see positive changes in cardiovascular endurance, body weight and composition, muscular strength and endurance, encouraging long-term lifestyle changes that can be maintained.  Improvements will vary per individual.

Discover a healthy way to a better weigh!  You will also have access to tools providing additional guidance
to support your development of healthier food choices fit for you!  The most effective means to healthfully get in shape, stay in shape and become fitter is by eating foods that are nutritious and exercising regularly. 

Individual consultations can be scheduled and group classes are periodically scheduled at Plano and/or Allen locations to help you jumpstart a lifestyle change that can serve you throughout your lifetime.   You will be led through discussions and activities that will provide education, support and motivation that will encourage you to develop nutritional and fitness habits for a fit you while providing the accountability many women need for fitness and weight loss.
