What would it take for you to get into better shape?  To get in the best shape of your life or to stay in shape? You would need a program that you would actually enjoy participating in, a program you could stick to, a program that would help you get the most out of yourself.


Our Miss Fit program is designed for women and every body!  Classes are provided by female instructors & trainers that understands a woman's body as well as "those awkward moments" and many body confidence issues. With Miss Fit, there's no need to feel like you're on display or self-conscious around others in a gym.  So, if you are looking to try something challenging or try something for group accountability with a group of like-minded women that share some of the same goals and challenges you face......then Miss Fit is for you!

The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Heart Association (AHA) updated physical activity guidelines for healthy adults under age 65 are as follows:

- Do moderately intense cardio 30 minutes a day, five days a week  OR  Do vigorously intense cardio 20 minutes a day, 3 days a week  AND  8-10 strength training exercises, 8 to 12 repetitions of each exercise twice a week.

Moderate-intensity physical activity means working hard enough to raise your heart rate and break a sweat, yet still be able to carry on a conversation.  It should be noted that to lose weight or maintain weight loss, 60 to 90 minutes of physical activity may be necessary.  The 30-minute recommendation is for the average healthy adult to maintain health and reduce the risk for chronic disease.
