CPR training can be fun and rewarding. Every effort is made to ensure our classes are as interactive and enjoyable as possible. Friendly teaching environments are very important to us. Community classes that are open to the public are periodically scheduled at our location. Private classes can be scheduled and administered at your location or ours. Flexible Web-based e-learning is available! The American Heart Association also offers some classes online, however, a skills practice session and skills test with an AHA instructor is required for a course completion card. The web-based e-learning products come in two parts - one for online teaching, and one for testing. Part 1 includes a series of modules covering all required sequences for the American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid course of the Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED course, as well as a required exam. After completing the exam, students receive a certificate that allows them entrance to Part 2, a hands-on skills-testing session led by an American Heart Associtiona BLS or Heartsaver instructor. Upon successful completion of the skills test, students receive the appropriate course completion card, issued by an American Heart Association Training Center. Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid: Lay Person/ Public, non-healthcare and for those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children's sports organizations. * NOTE: Different fees apply to private classes for an individual or small groups. Classes beyond a 12-mile radius of Allen (75002) will incur a travel fee for the commute. If location is 13-miles to 19-miles beyond Allen (75002), add $10.00 travel fee per class. If scheduled start time or end time is between 4:45pm and 6:15pm and location is beyond a 12-mile radius of Allen (75002), add $20 travel fee per class for traffic, time and distance. Travel/ Commute Fees and or range subject to change at any time. Classes 12+ miles from Allen (75002) will incur a flat fee (starting at $20) for travel.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Purchases are non-refundable within 72-hours of class, however, purchase may be transferred for someone else to attend. Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum of (4) paid registrations are not processed at least 72-hours prior to event (i.e., 1pm Wednesday for Saturday classes). Final Class Confirmation or Notice of Cancellation & Refund will be sent at least 48 hours prior to scheduled class date. Online registrations are processed via PayPal for Compliments LLC.
